How to Keep Outside Toys Organized

Can you believe it, Spring has already sprung! We are now seeing more day light hours and maybe even some more warm weather coming our way. And what does warm weather mean? It means more outside play time for our kids.

You know, where every time you want to go outside you have to search for those certain toys that are capable of handling dirt, water, and rough play. So not only do you need to make sure they have sun block, bug spray, and two matching shoes but you also have to have an arm full of toys going out as well.

I have a wonderful and fun solution for you and you’re kids might want to try to get those outside toys organized and out of your hands and hair.
It’s a toy tub on wheels!

You can fill it up, close the lid, and wheel it in and out as you go. And hey, if you like let your kids have a chance to wheel it out themselves it will help by freeing your hands and giving them something that will make them feel useful. It’s great!

You’ll need…

1. a storage tote w/lid
2. 4 caster wheels
3. lots of muscles

How to do it…

1. Take the caster wheels and attach them to all four corners of your tote.
2. Fill the tote with appropriate outdoor toys of all kinds.
3. Close it up with a lid until it’s a bright sunny day.
4. Wheel it right out the door, open, and enjoy!

Before you go out and buy a tote w/lid, look around your home to see if you already have one. If not, they are only about $5 at Wal-Mart or you can click on the picture of the tote on this page and it will take you to Amazon’s totes.
